Well, it’s the S197.1 with a rather wheezy V6 (complete with 5.0 emblems of course) and automatic.
Even the 4.6L V8 of this generation was rather sluggish with a V8, I can’t imagine how much slower that V6 will make that car feel.
With a manual however, the GT version of this car does come alive.

Even in this current market, I would find an actual V8 with a manual, probably still get one at that price, though not likely a newer S197 but the previous SN95, would still bet an overall better car.
I had an S197, good platform, but large and heavy, it won’t be that fun in that powertrain combo.
